I have a definite affinity for caramel flavored coffees. That is why, on a recent shopping trip, I chose the @Verena_Street Cow Tipper Ground Coffee. The Rainforest Alliance Certification made me feel a little better about my purchase.

This was the first time I had purchased a blend from this roaster so I was hoping it would be a good choice. This medium roast coffee brews up nicely. It has a dark, rich color and a pleasing aroma. It did not have any caramel or vanilla scent I was expecting from this blend, but the flavor was there.

The coffee had a rich flavor that is slightly bitter. The caramel and vanilla flavors are mild and did not add any overly sweet notes to the brew.

Although I don’t think I will purchase this blend a second time I can recommend it if you are looking for a mild flavored coffee.
