I come from a long line of coffee drinkers. My father would drink two pots of coffee during a day and would finish his dinner with a cup or two.
I’m not any where near that quantity of hot beverage but I do enjoy having a cup or three with breakfast and usually finish my day with a cup after dinner. For my late night cup I prefer a flavored blend. It lets me combine a “dessert flavor” and good coffee and that is where @berresbrotherscoffee comes in.

Berres Brothers is a local roaster based in Watertown, WI.. They offer a wide selection of blends, flavored or not, available in single serve, 1.5oz, and 10oz sizes and at various grinds. They also have one pot variety packs available so you can sample their wares before committing to a larger size.
I usually make a purchase during my trip to the local grocer. They carry a large selection of blends so I can allow impulse drive my purchase.
On a recent trip I selected the Chocolate Chip Cookie Ground Coffee. My curiosity got the better of me and I made the mistake of opening the pouch before taking the photo.
The initial olfactory sensation is a pleasant combination of chocolate chip cookies and coffee. The sugary, flour, and chocolate smell that greeted me was reminiscent of opening a bag of cookies. There was also a fresh coffee scent that was mellow and had me anticipating that first cup.
While brewing, the chocolate chip cookie aroma gave way slightly to the coffee. This wasn’t unpleasant but It did make me think the flavor might be gone with the brewing process.
That turned out to not be the case though. While not a strong chocolate cookie flavor, there were definite hints and notes combined with the coffee. The cup was dark and rich looking but with a mellow, pleasant taste.
Very nice.
There are a number of coffees I make room for in my coffee cabinet and the @berresbrotherscoffee Chocolate Chip Cookie Ground Coffee has definitely earned a place there. I would recommend this blend to anyone who enjoys flavored coffees.
