Yeah, yeah. I know. It’s been a while since my last review. I have no excuses besides self doubt and old tapes playing around inside my head.
My apologies.
Over the last few months I have been playing around with the @JustSpices Seasoning Blends and experimenting with them on various foods. Because of my diet (down 100 lbs. in less than 10 months, thank you) the foods have not always corresponded with the declared purpose of the blend.
The Vegetable Allrounder seasoning blend has been a well used staple during my journey. It has a pleasant cumin flavor with hints of pepper, garlic, paprika, and lemon. The blend adds enough flavor without overpowering the vegetables. I have used it with roasted broccoli, steamed cauliflower, sautéed asparagus, mushrooms, and bell peppers and have not regretted it.
I like to season the vegetables I have used in omelets. The pepper and cumin have added a nice pop flavor.

A couple of pinches added to sautéing vegetables is enough to add all the flavor you need.

To increase the flavor I have added the seasoning blend to eggs before beating. It’s very tasty.
I really enjoy this seasoning blend and would recommend it to anyone looking for a way to add a punch of flavor to their boring vegetables.
