This was the final member of the trinity of hot sauces I purchased recently and, SPOILER ALERT, it did not disappoint.

The bright orange portion of the label let me know that I did not have this sauce in my collection. My mind immediately thought, can you ever have too many hot sauces. Before I knew it the bottle was in my basket. An impulse buy.

The @CholulaHotSauce Sweet Habañero is a delightful blend of heat and sweetness. The habañero flavor is just right and there is a slight fruitiness. The heat sneaks up on you and dances on the back of your tongue and throat. If you don’t like spicy things, this sauce is not for you.

I tried this hot sauce on grilled chicken and pork and it was an excellent accompaniment. The heat added to the grill flavor while the sweetness played nicely with the flavor of both meats. It would also be good with fish and beef. Fish tacos?

I like having heat that adds flavor and this definitely does both. This sauce has earned a permanent place at my table and I would recommend it to anyone who likes some heat. Hopefully you favorite grocer stocks this one.
