Homemade Style Dumplings

The dumplings are shelf-stable come packaged at a little over one pound. They cook quickly in only two minutes (once the water is boiling) and have a pillowy texture. They really do seem like homemade gnocchi.

The dumplings have little ridges on them that hold sauce well. They are slightly chewy but seem to be almost nothing. A dangerous thing because there are three portions in a package and you may want to eat the whole package in one sitting.

I made a mushroom and basil cream sauce that went well with the gnocchi. Very tasty.

I would recommend the Racconto Potato Gnocchi to anyone.
